WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR GOD?

On Sunday, 20 September 2020, the atmosphere at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, was full of reverence and awe. The service began with prayer by the evangelists, and the children of God worshiped the One and Only God with all of their hearts, praising Him for everything Ηe has done and for everything He is going to do!

Later on, the evangelist Stavros Michailidis delivered a revealing message with the title “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR GOD?” which touched everyone’s life and also gave us the opportunity to redefine our relationship with God. Initially, he mentioned that many people see themselves as great philanthropists, as pillars of the church, or as irreplaceable benefactors. That is because of our service to the Lord, which we always remind God of, we mark it on behalf of God and we actually set a reward for it. However, when the answer to our prayer or the reward does not come as expected, we are disappointed and we start seeing God as unreliable and unfair. Yet, God did not call us to have an employer-employee relationship with Him. This is the greatest mistake many Christians make today.

As he carried on with his message, he spoke about the story of the widow from the Gospel of Luke 21:1-4. The woman offered two small copper coins out of her poverty. The evangelist explained that Jesus Christ was not impressed by the gifts of the rich people, but what the widow did attract His attention because He noticed the state of her heart. Moreover, he pointed out the fact that we do not need great faith to give what we do not need, but it takes great faith to give what our life depends on. This helps us understand that God has a different measure from us. God’s measure is written in His Word, in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7. “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” In other words, the evangelist highlighted the fact that God is not interested in what we give but in the way we give it. The state of our heart is what matters to God! After our hard work, God will have to mark it – not ourselves.

Then, the evangelist clarified that God is not asking for sacrifices as it is clearly mentioned in His Word: “You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise” (Psalm 51:16-17). Because, we did nothing worthy of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for us. It takes the maturity that comes from faith to realize that our responsibility to God is a commitment and fellowship with Him rather than sacrifice. Therefore, the evangelist encouraged us to come to God with a humble heart saying: “Those who would come to God must do so with humility and sincerity of mind, and not confession in the form of fasting and praying or waving hands in worship without a thorough reformation of heart and life”. True Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with God and it lies in the heart – in the purity of the heart! Concluding his message, the evangelist advised everyone to give our hearts to God and stop measure ourselves by ourselves. As we do that, we will develop a Father-child relationship that God wants us to have with Him and, then, we will get the answers we have been praying for, for so many years!

PROPHECY EXPOSES THE SPIRIT OF ANGER THAT CONTROLLED HIS LIFE

Mr. Ivelin Marinov from Bulgaria came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, on Sunday, 20 September 2020, and took part in the prayer line, praying that the anointing of God would locate him! And his prayer was heard, as the man of God Harry approached him and exposed his problem, saying: “Pray against the spirit of anger, lest it pushes you to do something that you will pay for your whole life. You have a heart that loves God and you want to serve Jesus, but sometimes that spirit comes and confuses you. People around you are shocked with you, because from something small and insignificant you can get angry and act out of character. The Word of God says: A bad deed can erase a thousand good deeds you have done in the past. You love God and want to serve Him, you want Jesus to use you in His work. But if you are not delivered from this spirit of anger that makes you act out of character, you can destroy whatever good you have built in your life. And, thus, lose the trust of the people and your credibility. From now on, you will see that your life will have an upward course”. Then, praying for him, the man of God rebuked the unclean spirit and proclaimed him free in the name of Jesus Christ!

Mr. Marinov described what he felt as he stood on the prayer line as something extraordinary and confirmed that everything that the prophetic word revealed was the absolute truth! He began by explaining that this spirit of anger affected all areas of his life for many years. When this spirit took over him, it manifested with voices, hitting objects and even people. More specifically, he stated that from a young age he was extremely angry and did not accept any remarks from his friends. He kept arguing with them, and as a result, they started avoiding him, insulting him and calling him crazy. Also, due to his anger, he constantly changed jobs, as everyone and everything irritated him.

Later, even in his marriage he became angry with his wife, constantly blaming her and even going so far as to hit her. He did not want her, he constantly thought about other women and planned to get a divorce. This spirit also affected his relationship with God, whom although he had met in the past and his life had changed, he gradually moved away from Him, returning to his old way of life. However, deep inside him he loved God and always wanted to serve Him. Until one day at work, thinking about his situation, he suddenly began to pray while crying. Realizing that his problem was spiritual, he decided to seek God’s help and solution. Full of joy, Mr. Marinov thanked God for delivering him from the spirit of anger and promised his Redeemer to dedicate his life to Him!

HEALING DURING VISIT TO THE HOLY LAND

Every week, tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world visit the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, and the Holy Land in Greece – the prison of Apostle Paul and Silas and the Lydia River. Many among them receive miracles from God, knowing that the power that tore down the prison walls and freed Apostle Paul and Silas from their chains, still acts today! One of them was Mrs. Oleksandra Podolyak who came to the SCOAN Thessalonica from Germany, on Sunday, 20 September 2020 to share with us her beautiful testimony!

She began by explaining that during the last two months, she was suffering from a persistent toothache. For this reason, she decided to see a dentist. However, after examining her, the dentist could not detect any damage in order to find where the pain came from. The situation gradually became worse! Her entire mouth was in pain to such a degree that she could not even touch her face. Due to the pain, she could not focus on anything during the day and it was difficult for her to chew her food. When the pain occurred at night, she could not sleep. Eventually, a few days before her scheduled trip to the SCOAN Thessalonica, her face became swollen!

During her stay in Greece, she had the chance to visit the ancient city of Philippi and see the prison where Apostle Paul and Silas were held. As she approached the prison of the Apostles, Mrs. Podolyak prayed in faith and experienced the same power that shook the prison’s foundations and set Paul and Silas free! She started to cough and felt that something came out of her! She could instantly touch the spot that used to hurt on her face and later realized that the pain is gone, that she can eat, she can sleep, without any problem! Truly, the way God chooses to act in our life every time cannot be limited! From that moment on, pain is a thing of the past! Concluding her testimony, Mrs. Podolyak thanked God and promised to follow Him for the rest of her life!

Apostle Paul and Silas’ prison was the place where God’s supernatural power was revealed with signs and wonders, during biblical times; making it known to the nations that there is a God who saves, delivers, and acts through His people. Today, 2,000 years later, the same force that manifested and broke the chains of the Apostles is still there and it’s revealed to anyone who comes with faith and calls upon God who saves and delivers! God is the same yesterday, today and forever!

SPIRITUAL SURGERY IN THE STOMACH DURING ANOINTED PRAYER

On Sunday, 20 September 2020, Mrs. Maria Radkova from Bulgaria, came to the Synagogue, Church of All Nations Thessalonica, determined to hand over her problem to the hands of Jesus Christ. She took part in the prayer line, and as she patiently waited glorifying and thanking God Almighty, her heart became a point of contact and communication with the Holy Spirit. Then, she was led to her miracle and the result was obvious in the eyes of all those present!

As the man of God Harry prayed for her in the prayer line, he gave her the following prophetic message: “A hole was going to be created in her stomach. Thank God, the Lord healed her!”. Shortly afterward, Mrs. Radkova, surprised, confessed that during the prayer line, she felt the Spirit of God working within her, performing a spiritual operation in her body. Her legs bent down as the Holy Spirit acted on her body, and she immediately felt a heavy burden leave her! She felt light and then tried to do the movements she had been unable to do before. Then, she realized with joy that she is free and healed!

She then explained that for more than a year she had bloating in her abdomen, which was evident to everyone around her, as she looked like she was pregnant. This condition affected every aspect of her life, as the pressure exerted by the swollen abdomen on the rest of the body hindered her freedom of movement and made it difficult for her in her daily activities. She could not do the housework, climb the stairs and go shopping because she could hardly breathe and was easily tired from walking. Seeking a solution to her problem, she visited a doctor, and the doctor, after examining her and diagnosing the problem, recommended medication to her, which she followed. However, instead of getting better, the situation got worse. So, without delay, he decided to turn to the Great Healer, Jesus Christ. As expected, He identified her need, giving her immediate healing! Now her belly is normal, the bloating has already begun to subside, and she can do the movements she could not do before with her body!

Free and relieved of her problem, now Mrs. Radkova, obviously happy for the blessing she received, promised to follow and serve God as He leads her!

Faith is a gift from God. God can work miracles only through your capacity to believe! Because only faith pleases God!

PROPHETIC WORD PUTS AN END TO 25 YEARS OF FAILURE AND SETBACK

In an atmosphere of faith, the prayer line was conducted at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, on Sunday, 20 September 2020. Believers from all around the world, united by one spirit, approached God through prayer, acknowledging that this is the shortest route between their heart and God. Among those who stood in the prayer line to receive divine intervention in everything that concerned them was Mr. Richard Edomwonyi, from the United Kingdom.

While the man of God was praying for freedom, healing and blessing to those in need, as soon as he approached and prayed to Mr. Edomwonyi, the Spirit of God revealed a special message to him. “I see a woman visiting you in your dream to force you to make love to you. This is what is causing disappointment. Anything you put your hand, any time such a dream happens, it cannot prosper. I do not know you and you do not know me! But the moment I prayed for you that is when the Holy Spirit ministered in my heart that this is the problem that man is having.

You have good ideas; the ideas come and anyone that hears your ideas and they do it, they prosper. But when you try it yourself it cannot move. That is because of this spirit so now that is exposed, that is the end of it! After today’s prayer, just go and do anything God puts in your heart to do. Do it and it will prosper!”, said the man of God, bringing forth the way in which satan sabotaged the prosperity of Mr. Edomwonyi. Obviously surprised, he thanked and glorified God who revealed to His anointed servant the root of his problems. He could not comprehend how the Lord revealed something so personal, something that was happening while he was sleeping in his bedroom!

Then, eager to confirm with evidence and details what the man of God revealed, Mr. Edomwonyi shed more light on the prophetic word he received, explaining the areas that the unclean spirit had affected with its negative presence. Although his whole life was turbulent and difficult, he chose to refer to some resounding examples that really prove the impact of the demon on his life. As he explained, it all started in 1994 when he was returning from Taiwan, and without any specific reason he was deported! Beyond that, his every attempt to do something with his life failed miserably. More specifically, Mr. Edomwonyi wanted to build several houses in his home country, Nigeria, so that every time he would visit his place with his family, he could live there safely. But every time he wanted to do things that would improve or perfect his homes, very strange things happened since the dream to which the man of God referred to had preceded.

He talked about three houses he owns and explained that when he had finished all the construction work that had to be done on one of them and only the painting remained, his neighbor with whom he had disputes sued him. This meant that they would have to settle their disputes in court and So, the work on the house would be stopped! In the second house that he bought in Lagos, Nigeria, some construction left to complete and make it habitable. Mr. Edomwonyi decided to instruct his brother to take over what needed to be done. So, while his brother was in very good health and had absolutely no problems, as soon as he took over his duties regarding the home, he became seriously ill and, so, the construction was never done! Finally, he explained that it took him 10 years to complete the third house he bought, because of this demon that was coming to his dream.

In addition, he pointed out that his career was affected too. All these years since whenever he went to a job interview, he saw this dream and then he was sure that failure would follow. Although he has been a driver for over 30 years, he has failed the exam for obtaining a bus diploma 5 times, which he needed for a new business that he intended to start! Also, all the years of his life he remembers people coming and asking him for advice and ideas about things they wanted to do. Indeed, the ideas he had to offer were very effective, and those who implemented them achieved their goal, something that did not happen to him! As a professional musician, he has helped many of his colleagues in the field of music, who succeeded, became great and then turned their backs on him. He, however, still struggles to get his music recognized, despite the fact that people like his music. Because he had lost a lot of money due to all the challenges he was constantly facing, he got to the point of being afraid to make any professional move, because he believed that he would fail like all the other moves of the past…

With absolute gratitude to God and believing that from now on a new chapter of prosperity and success in his life begins, Mr. Edomwonyi promised to serve God all the days of his life and to come back in order to share his testimony for all that God is going to do in his life!
