LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF YOUR CONSCIENCE

On Sunday, 19 January 2020, the people of God came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to give their Creator all the glory, honor, worship and praise that He deserves. Faithful, as always in His appointment, God has flooded the hearts of all in attendance with His sweet presence and met the needs of His people!

Evangelist Katerina Otamere then proclaimed a message entitled “LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF YOUR CONSCIENCE”. With this message that concerns each of us on a personal level, she led us through a process of self-examination. She explained that many of us today pray and ask God for guidance and direction, even though He speaks to us constantly and directs us every moment through the voice of our conscience. However, although we claim to be children of God, we often choose to ignore the voice of our conscience, just as the children of the world do! Reading the words of Apostle Paul from Acts 23:1, where he said, “Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day”, she also indicated that none of us today could confess the same words, because we have learned to continually ignore the voice of our conscience, which eventually fades away and dies! However, as children of God we are not called to have a dead conscience, but alive to the Spirit of God, sensitive to the problem of others and ready to help even our enemy!

More specifically, the evangelist explained that our conscience is our spiritual brake given by God, who every time tries to stop us from committing sin by speaking within us. The problem that many of us have today is that the voice of our conscience is at a low frequency and urgently needs to increase its volume in order for us to hear the voice of God clearly. Still, the evangelist made it clear that if we ignore the voice of our conscience which admonishes us when we pray, we are wasting our time because our prayer does not reach God! Thus, it is impossible to receive the answer to our prayer and the direction we seek, since our conscience is the very instrument used by the Holy Spirit to guide us! Concluding her message, Evangelist Katerina emphasized that if we want to be led by God, obedience is the key! Therefore, she advised us all to start obeying the voice of our conscience, because then we will see our relationship with God go to another level and the many years of prayer requests will finally be answered!

24-year-old Mr. Antonio Hadjiiljoski from Northern Macedonia lives and works as a pilot. On Sunday, 19 January 2020, he attended the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to thank God, who freed him from all his burdens and gave him a new future.

It all started around the age of fourteen when he and his friends in high school started smoking and falling into various bad habits. At first, he smoked a few cigarettes a day but then he smoked two packs a day, each containing 20 cigarettes. Sometimes, he woke up at midnight to go buy cigarettes! Before he got addicted to smoking he was fit and had a good physique. After the age of eighteen, he was no longer fit. Indeed, during the examination period at the aviation school he attended, he noticed that the rest of his classmates were in much better physical shape than he was, and this was an issue that troubled him greatly. So he decided to quit smoking and begin exercising again. He tried to use electronic cigarettes, read books, watch various videos and look for guides on how to quitting smoking online, but his efforts lasted no more than two days. Every time he returned to his addiction with an even greater desire!

Another problem that affected him was his aggressive character. Wherever he went, there would be a misunderstanding and he would usually start fighting. He was constantly angry and behaved badly when he did not like something. He sometimes tried to control himself, but often failed to do so, resulting in a confrontation with friends and relatives… This is when he realized he had a problem with the spirit of anger. He was also very anxious and had trouble sleeping. More specifically, he slept all day and stayed awake at night. In order to sleep at night, he worked out for hours in the gym, so that he could be exhausted and fall asleep, but he never did. All of this had a great impact on his career because it was very difficult for him to be a good pilot with all these bad habits. He knew that if he did not change his bad habits, it would be impossible for him to have a future in this profession.

Although he had tried thousands of ways to live a normal life, his efforts always fell short. While searching for an answer, he discovered the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, and decided to join the prayer line. When the man of God Harry touched him, he gave Mr. Hadjiiljoski a prophetic word: “I am seeing that satan has been attacking you with some negative thoughts. He gives you negative thoughts and all this is driving you crazy. When those thoughts come, it’s like someone else is controlling your body, not you. Whereas you don’t want to do what those thoughts are telling you, you find yourself doing it. Jesus Christ loves you and after today you will be able to do what you want to do, not what satan wants you to do! Make sure you spend quality time with God as you read your Bible and pray daily! This must become your daily habit and you will find yourself operating on another level. You have God’s promise in your life, but satan is trying to stop you. This is the end of it!”. When the man of God revealed the secret parts of Mr. Hadjiiljoski’s life, he was amazed because he had never seen him before and had not spent a single minute with him! With a single touch from the man of God, he felt deep faith in God for the first time.

Following the prophetic word given to him, he obeyed God’s instruction and began to study the Word of God and spend quality time with Him. A few days later, while in the Czech Republic, he began to realize that he lost – after ten years – every craving for smoking. On the same day, he slept normally at night for ten consecutive hours, something he had not done for twelve years since he was a child! Yet, with astonishment, he saw that his aggression had disappeared, as he could now function by controlling himself, even under pressure! His advice to all young people who tend to get into bad habits is to try working out and find a living church to begin attending; in other words, to come closer to God. Finally, he promised to help his fellow man with every opportunity he gets and that he would continue to pray and maintain his relationship with God!

In each case, we see that acting on the Word of God makes Jesus Christ truly Real to the believer!

On Sunday, 19 January 2020, Mrs. Gelova Desislava, who is a permanent resident of Crete, visited the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, with joy and gratitude, to share with us the wonderful deliverance that Jesus Christ granted her!

Mrs. Desislava began by describing how her life suddenly changed in one day, seven years ago. At that time, she lived with her husband and their little daughter in Athens. One day, as they all went shopping as a family, she began feeling dizzy, her legs were trembling and she felt as if she was going to fall down. She exited the store immediately, with a great fear overcoming her and she urgently asked for medical attention. The doctor who examined her diagnosed that she had anemia and recommended that she take medication. However, the fear that emerged that day remained, dramatically affecting her mood and behavior. While there was no justified cause, she was afraid she would die or something bad would happen to her! At times, she even felt an unpleasant, intense choking sensation which led her to pray to God until it passed. At the same time, other phobias developed. She felt a great deal of anxiety and fear every time she was in public places, so she isolated herself at home and did not want to see anyone. She did not go shopping, she did not cook or clean the house and she did not care for her child. Thus, Mrs. Desislava, unable to properly support her family as a mother and spouse, whilst watching the years pass and her child growing up under these circumstances, she wept daily for her situation and hoped for a new beginning! Indeed, the last year, in an attempt to get out of her situation, she took a six-month job at a hotel and despite her great desire to do well, it was not easy! She struggled daily with her fears and prayed to God all day for help. When the employment contract ended, she returned to the same situation as before. After all this, her husband told her that he could no longer live under these circumstances since she no longer had affection for him. Therefore, he would go on to live in another city, as he did. All her relatives and acquaintances had lost hope that something might change in her life.

At this point she learned about the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, and decided to come and join the prayer line with faith in God, to find the divine solution to her problem. When the man of God Harry prayed for her, Mrs. Desislava was immediately delivered from the chains of fear that held her captive for so many years! Thanking Jesus Christ, she said that while the man of God was praying, she saw a light on her whole body and suddenly she felt a burden lift off of her! From that day forward the story of her life changed! She returned home with no fear and just three days after the prayer, her husband learned of her news and returned home happy to see the dramatic changes with his own eyes! Also, the affection between them was restored and Mrs. Desislava happily took up all her duties as a mother and a housewife! Relatives and friends who have known their problem and now seeing this great change, glorify God and rejoice with them! In closing her testimony, she promised to always follow God and advised us not to be afraid, but to believe in God, for there is always a solution!

There is really no problem that Jesus Christ cannot solve, there is no illness that He cannot heal and there is no burden that He cannot lift! Because Jesus Christ lives and is the Solution!

Mrs. Saia Strel from Thessaloniki came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, free from the problem she was facing on Sunday, 19 January 2020, to give honor and glory to the Almighty God for the wonderful healing she received.

She had been suffering from chronic cervical syndrome and spinal stenosis since early 2018. This problem caused her unbearable neck pain and numbness in her left hand, causing it to be weak and almost paralyzed. She also had a curvature occur on the top part of her spine and as a result, her posture had been distorted! Almost all of her daily activities were limited and more specifically, Mrs. Strel explained that she had difficulty moving her head. Therefore, she was unable to drive her car like before, nor could she sleep comfortably as she could not turn right or left. Indeed, at night she was awakened by intense pain! She also emphasized that she was not even able to hug her grandchildren, which caused her great sadness. Her daily chores at home were unbearable for her and so she had to seek help from her children. Eventually, she visited her doctor in search of a way out of her situation! The doctor administered her medication and recommended that she undergo an MRI scan of her spinal cord which revealed the problem. The doctor advised her to be careful because if her condition worsened, surgery would be inevitable! However, the medication did not work and in order to stop the intolerable pain, she tried other methods, such as physical therapy, massage and swimming, but none of them had the desired effect. Having exhausted all possibilities without finding relief, she decided to hand her problem over to God, coming to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica.

When she entered the prayer line and received prayer from the man of God Harry, the divine answer came! With visible emotion on her face, she described the changes that had occurred after the prayer. The tremendous pain and numbness of her hand disappeared and so now, she sleeps without any difficulty. She can once again drive her car as she did before since she is able to turn her head and look on every side of the road without any problems! She does all her chores comfortably and can even help her children! Everything returned back to the normal pace just as before this journey of her health problems began! She is healthy and strong, and after the miraculous healing she received, Mrs. Strel added that her condition brought her closer to God as it forced her to pray even more, especially during the night hours when the pain would wake her up!

Joyful and blessed as she now is, she has advised us to trust God even when we are in pain because sometimes He allows situations to happen in order to bring us closer to Him. In closing, she promised to worship Him, to believe in Him, to thank Him and glorify Him always, because He is the Alpha and the Omega in her life.

When you have a challenge and that challenge causes you to depend on God, this means that your challenge is for your promotion! God is always willing to solve any of your problems as you seek the salvation of your soul, and as He said, “all things shall be added unto you”.
