FEAR NOT; JUST BELIEVE

Sunday, 12 January 2020, was another opportunity for the name of the Living Jesus Christ to be glorified at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica. In an atmosphere full of worship and gratitude towards God, the hearts of the believers opened and they were ready to receive what they came for.

Later, the man of God Harry preached a message entitled “FEAR NOT; JUST BELIEVE”, in which he gave us the key to face one of the greatest problems people have to deal with every day, fear! More specifically, he pointed out that fear comes when we cannot see beyond our immediate situation, because we look at the problem with the eyes of the body and not with the eyes of faith, as we are called to do as children of God! It is a limiting factor to our progress because it changes our orientation and it stops us from making important decisions that can change our lives! Moreover, fear weakens our determination and willpower! As he read from the book of 2 Kings 6:8-17, he referred to the time when the king of Syria was at war with the people of Israel and he sent large military units in order to arrest Prophet Elisha. When Elisha’s servant saw the enemy’s army surrounding them, he started to fear and panic, believing that their end was near! Like most people today, the servant could only see the enemy and the approaching death with the eyes of the body. In other words, he saw what the situation was suggesting. On the contrary, with his eyes of faith, Prophet Elisha was able to see the armies of the Lord who were with them! Therefore, one thing is for the eyes of the body to open; it is another thing for the eyes of our faith to be open!

So, the man of God made it evident that when the eyes of your faith are open, you will be able to see what Elisha saw, that those who are with you are more than those who are against you! You will stop being afraid and you will start believing! Concluding his message, the man of God emphasized the fact that, whatever situation you may be in, no matter what your problem is, do not be afraid; just believe! You can also ask God to open the eyes of your faith today, because the opening of your eyes of faith is the silencing of your fears!

Ms. Ulrika Edren from Sweden visited the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, on Sunday, 12 January 2020, to testify of the miraculous way God intervened in her life and to glorify Him for delivering her from deep depression.

It all started in 2005, when Ms. Edren was working as an airline manager and she had to supervise 750 employees. She started work early in the morning until very late in the afternoon, so she could not spend as much time with her children as she should. Furthermore, she neither drank enough water nor ate enough food, which consequently led to her physical and emotional exhaustion, reaching the point of burnout, and fell into depression. When she sought psychiatric help, she had already lost interest in life, she had lost a lot of weight, she was sinking into deep depression and she was crying in bed all day. Then, the Social Services took custody of her children since she could not even take care of herself. She heard voices telling her to put an end to her life. The demonic thoughts told her that she was surely going to die and convinced her to plan her funeral. Therefore, she was forced to sell and give away all of her belongings, her house, her car, even her clothes! Isolated from everyone and with demons appearing both in her dreams and in the physical, she used to wake up with marks on her throat indicating that she was choked during the night.

It was necessary to find a solution and put an end to her suffering. In that desperate situation, Jesus Christ located her and she started a new journey with Him. The Lord showed mercy in her life and Ms. Edren found out about the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, through a friend. When she decided to come to the church with faith in order to receive her deliverance, during the prayer line the man of God touched her and she immediately broke free from every chain that was holding her captive! Since then, the changes in her life are spectacular! When she went back to Sweden, she got custody of her children back, she now has a job and her relationship with her friends and relatives has been restored. All the negative thoughts as well as the attacks from the unclean spirits belong to the past. Now, she has positive thoughts for the future and beautiful dreams! The spirit of depression has been cast out by the anointing of God and sorrow has been replaced by joy! She is grateful to God for the relationship with Him and her advice to everyone who has been stricken with the spirit of depression is not to give up, to worship God in every situation! Finally, she promised to totally surrender herself to God.

This is one of the millions of cases all over the world, that proves that Jesus Christ is Almighty today and that through His wounds we are healed, delivered and blessed for the salvation of our soul!

On Sunday, 12 January 2020, Mrs. Katerina Pontaki came from Athens with her husband, Mr. Nikos Pontakis, at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, in order to thank Jesus Christ because He transformed her life after the deliverance she received!

It all had started one year and a half before; while she was heading to her workplace she felt a strong wind entering her, making her feel uncomfortable. Without realizing what happened, she went back home. From that moment on, the change in her life was radical. All of a sudden, everyone and everything bothered her. She was isolated in her bedroom, she neither wanted to go out, nor speak to anyone. If she had to talk to anybody, her behavior was so bad because it was directed by the voices within her. She did not care about her appearance or her personal hygiene. She was indifferent to her children and her husband to whom she used to say all the time that she wanted to get a divorce because she did not love him anymore. She even tried to hit him! Her husband, who was very sad with the whole situation, could not understand what was going on since there was no problem in their relationship up to that moment. There was no explanation or excuse for her weird behavior and her sudden change. Also, Mrs. Pontaki had many nightmares! The first night, after her radical change, she saw a shadow grabbing her throat aiming to choke her. She was crying, shouting and struggling in her sleep… Her husband realized that the situation was out of control and he never left her alone because he was afraid that she may attempt to hurt herself.

Her husband, trying to help her, found a woman who in exchange for money gave him some herbs and charms that were supposed to provide a solution to their problems, but all in vain. There was no improvement! Until a relative told them about the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, and they decided to come here, hoping to find the solution they were looking for! On their way to the church, the devil tried to prevent them from coming causing two car accidents in two months, which resulted in the complete destruction of their vehicles! Still, Mr. Pontakis did not quit and he eventually brought his wife before the Great Healer! Mrs. Pontaki pointed out that when the man of God Harry was praying among the crowd and was coming closer to her, she felt severe pain in her chest and a burning sensation in her throat! The evil spirit in her tried to make her walk away from God’s presence, but the moment it saw that the anointing of the Living God is stronger, it was forced to give in!

The unclean spirit manifested and by the grace of God Mrs. Pontaki is now enjoying the sweet freedom that only Jesus Christ can provide. Now, she feels love for her children and especially for her husband. Her behavior is very good, she does not speak in a bad way, she does not hear voices nor has nightmares. In fact, her sleep is even better than it used to be before everything changed in her life! The joy and the peace have overwhelmed both of their lives and through their experience they advised us to seek and find a church where God works, in order to find a solution to our problems.

If the situation you are in now does not guarantee your future, do not despair; the end has not come, the best is always yet to come!
